Leaving Egypt podcast - ‘Listening with the Spirit in our neighbourhoods’

Leaving Egypt is a podcast co-hosted by Jenny Sinclair and Al Roxburgh exploring what it means to be God’s people in an age of unravelling. Part of the Missional Network and Together for the Common Good.

Co-founder of School for Synodality Avril Baigent was invited to speak on ‘listening with the Spirit in our neighbourhoods’, and share her experiences with parishes and leaders as they adjust to deep change in the church.

Leaving Egypt described it as: Sometimes it's too easy to characterize what's going on in local congregations in terms of struggle and decline. But much more is happening. Across many churches there’s something stirring - Christians coming together to listen and discern the activity of the Spirit in their communities. Avril shares stories about the synodality* movement in the Catholic Church, what she sees happening on the ground and what it is that makes this new energy so significant.”

You can find it online here, or where you usually listen to your podcasts.
