Reimagining Pastoral Councils - Starter Kit

The Pastoral Council Starter Toolkit is a new resource from the School for Synodality, and offers a reimagined style of Pastoral Council, enabling us to walk with Christ along the road together, with listening and talking, and being moved by the Holy Spirit.

The building up of the body of Christ and the mission of the church is a task entrusted to each of us as the people of God, through our baptismal vocation. However this is not so easy in practice!

Moving to a new form of Pastoral Council requires learning new skills and practices, particularly in listening to the Holy Spirit and to one another.

We hope this new resource will reignite a passion for pastoral councils, either to begin completely new or to refresh current frameworks.
